Our client, a Perth based Tier One Mining Operator, is looking for the next Automation Test Specialist to join them on a contract basis.
This driven, creative and innovative team looks after their in-house software products. This opportunity would suit someone who has the characteristics of a developer that can do automation testing or an automation tester that has upskilled in development. The key here is that the individual will need to understand the codebase to write the automation tests.

This opportunity would suit someone who has the characteristics of a developer that can do automation testing or an automation tester that has upskilled in development. The key here is that the individual will need to understand the codebase to write the automation tests.
A big element of this role will involve coaching and teaching junior team members so this person should be a highly experienced mentor who is able to construct feedback for positive outcomes.

About You |
  • Full working rights for Australia
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of working independently while maintaining transparency and openness in an Agile environment.
  • Strong experience with web app test automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in Playwright and TypeScript / JavaScript.
  • Good knowledge of Django, React and Python.
  • Understands how modern web apps are developed.
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work within a global team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
