To provide electrical Maintenance services on mobile fleet maintenance department, spercifically the 730E-10 Electric drive truck fleet. Role Accountabilities Safety  Ensures personal and team compliance with all company HSE requirements & policies including Fitness for Work.  Completes any HSE tasks only if the hazards and any potential consequences are understood and any corrections are firstly agreed by the relevant Supervisor. People  Works constructively within a diverse group of people.  Delivers consistently on commitments and takes accountability for own development. Production  All aspects of preventative maintenance activities  Accurate diagnostics and efficient execution in breakdown events  Provide ongoing daily services in inspecting, installing, fault-finding/troubleshooting, repairing and testing electrical equipment on mobile fleet as required.  Ensure documentation, maintenance and service records for equipment are complete and kept up to date. Cost  Actively seeks cost reduction opportunities and identifies & reports any cost wastage within designated area. Qualifications (essential and desirable):  ElectricalTrade Certificate or 4 years relevant mining electrical experiance essential.  GE or Wabtec Drive System training  Drivers License essential.  Overhead Gantry Crane Qualifications highly desirable  Forklift qualifications highly desirable  Equipment testing and adjusting experience essential Role Description Uncontrolled copy once printed Page 2 of 2 Behavioural Competencies (4-5 personal skills that are critical for success)  Demonstrates personal responsibility for own health and safety and develops an understanding of the legal requirements, HSE standards and standard operating procedures relevant to direct work area.  Works well with others, listens actively, seeks inputs and asks clarification questions to check understanding staying focused and composed in a variety of work situations.  Effectively manages own time to complete tasks in line with job expectations and requirements adjusting plans to cater for unforeseen events / disruptions.  Recognises problems and proactively works towards resolution under the guidance of immediate Supervisor.  Recognises opportunities to minimise waste and addresses it according to the HSE and operational standards and practices. Technical Capabilities (4-5 technical skills including systems / technology that are critical for success)  Work in accordance with MSHA, Oceana Safety System, Safety Policies and Procedures and Oceana Environment policies and all departmental operating procedures.  Diangnostic capability with GE / Wabtec drive systems  Cummins insite,  wPTU & WebPTU  Advanced Electric Drive systems Diagnostics Skills on electric drive trucks and CAN systems  Advanced Hydraulic Diagnostics Skills Required Knowledge and Experience (essential and desirable):  4 – 5 years relevant work experience essential in heavy industry within a mining environment; either through experience in a similar operation.  Relevant experience in maintaining Electric drive truck fleets.  Good verbal and written communication skills.  Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously from time to time.  High attention to detail with good time management skills.  Strong active listening & interpersonal skills.  Experience with Komatsu, Caterpillar, Terex, Hitachi, Sandvik & Epriroc Equipment & supporting systems
