RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS

  • Lead the transition to new work methods by decreasing offshore scope and enhancing the company's emphasis on predicting failures through digital innovation and integrating data and tools.
  • Ensure effective and efficient processes, standards, and tools are in place for onshore surveillance of offshore asset production and marine systems, supporting the offshore asset business and safety performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and drive a continuous improvement roadmap based on pain points (bad actors) from the business and technical opportunities from the market. Bad actors can be driven by revenue, opex, safety, or PoB demand.
  • Coordinate and align a 3-year plan input for production and marine systems surveillance.
  • Support integration of the surveillance layer with the traditional maintenance strategy to ensure overall optimization and reduction of offshore maintenance tasks.
  • Support integration of Lines of Defence data into a holistic approach to improve visibility on equipment/systems availability status and risk.
  • Define an ambitious plan on usage of wireless sensors/IoT as part of the continuous improvement roadmap.
  • Prepare and present ideation and validation packs as part of the initiative process approval gates.
  • Support further alert management professionalization, looking for automation opportunities and abnormal behavior setting methodologies.
  • Stay up to date on asset surveillance-related developments and technologies, e.g., attend industry seminars/conferences.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc and/or MSc degree in Process Engineering, I&C Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience, preferably exposed to an operational (energy) processing environment.
  • At least 2 years’ experience with digital or software developments, preferably related to process data analytics; data science and/or Python programming skills are a plus.
Specific Skills / Expertise / Product:

  • Familiarity with production (data) related surveillance software (e.g., Aveva PI, Seeq), offshore DSC systems, and reporting systems like PowerBI.
  • User experience with CMMS systems (e.g., IFS, SAP, Maximo, AMOS) and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Projects.
  • Knowledge of FPSO production and marine operating systems.
  • Understanding of FMEA and RCM.
  • Digital savviness.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, problem-solving, planning, and organizing, with a passion for achieving results.
  • Supervisory skills and a strong commitment to team culture; good in stakeholder management.
  • Ability to travel internationally, including offshore
