Job Summary
The Asset Integrity Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to production locations, with the implementation, execution, and improvement of programs/practices for all types of equipment (fixed, rotating, electrical, instruments) and systems with primary emphasis on mechanical integrity as well as maintenance and reliability. The Staff Asset Integrity Engineer will improve the site and infrastructure integrity by utilizing industry recognized tools, inspection methods, and standards including developing risk-based inspection priorities, assessment of damage mechanisms, selection of inspection methods and NDE techniques, inspection plan development, auditing/evaluation of site mechanical integrity programs, equipment failure analysis, and fitness for service assessments. The incumbent will have the leadership, technical, and communication skills to interface with both field and office-based staff and will also be self-motivated, team oriented, and results focused.
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Establish company standards related to design, materials, equipment, construction and operation of oil and gas equipment including drilling and completions equipment Assess a variety of historical inspection, operational conditions, process, and corrosion control data to adequately assess and give direction on the further inspection and operation of equipment Design, plan, initiate and monitor inspection programs with both internal and 3rd party NDT/NDE personnel, and interpret and assess information generated during the inspection programs Develop leading and lagging metrics design to drive for overall reduction in unplanned downtime Provide oversight, guidance and support to the Engineering, Operations, and HSE Teams regarding mechanical integrity Develop short- and long-term reliability and mechanical integrity plans
 
Job Specific Skills
Solid knowledge of ASME design codes as well as API inspection codes, including:
Piping design under ASME B31.1/ASME B31.3 ASME Sect. VIII Div. 1 API 510, 653, 650,580 A broad technical understanding of multiple areas (e.g., mechanical, electrical, controls, process) Experience applying risk-based inspection methods, damage mechanism assessments, equipment failure analysis, and repair plans/alternatives Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team Must be willing and able to travel to various locations as required Education
Minimum: Bachelor's degree - from accredited university Minimum: One of the following:
Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university - Engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission
(EAC) program, or
Professional Engineer (PE) license, or

Master’s degree - from accredited university - Master’s of Engineering degree from a program in which the correlating Bachelor’s degree is accredited by the ABET EAC Experience
Minimum: 5 - 8 years related work experience
Preferred: 10 years related work experience
