AIRPORT OPERATION SUPERVISOR - TECHNICAL
(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:
  • To maintain aircraft integrity and performance, rigorous maintenance protocols are overseen, ensuring the fleet's readiness and safety.
  • To ensure all technical systems meet operational and safety standards as defined by aviation authorities and airport regulations.
  • To engage with suppliers, aviation authorities, and internal teams, ensuring alignment of maintenance practices with industry advancements and standards.
  • Ensure aircraft maintenance operations are streamlined, minimizing aircraft downtime and ensuring timely readiness for flight schedules.
  • Determine manpower, parts, and equipment needed for maintenance tasks and ensure they're effectively utilized to meet production targets.
  • Collaborate with operations to align maintenance schedules with flight operations, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in aviation maintenance technology, ensuring the fleet benefits from cutting-edge diagnostics and repair methods.
  • Employ advanced diagnostic methods and technologies to identify and address aircraft issues efficiently.
  • Ensure that all technical manuals, safety protocols, and procedures are not only updated but also adhered to. This includes reviewing and updating manuals as aircraft technology evolves.
  • Lead maintenance-related projects, such as fleet upgrades, aircraft overhauls, or integration of new technology systems.
  • Engage with manufacturers, suppliers, aviation authorities, and other stakeholders in projects related to fleet acquisition, system upgrades, or other major maintenance initiatives.
  • Before embarking on any project, conduct thorough risk assessments, considering safety, quality, budget, and timelines. Implement measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Determine budgetary requirements for projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while aiming for optimal results.
What skills and experience do you need?
  • Graduate Degree from Civil Engineer/Architecture.
  • Proven experience in airport technical services or a related field, with a strong understanding of airport systems and equipment.
  • Have minimum 10 years’ experience as Supervisor with 5 years’ experience in Airport Engineering.
  • Licensing: Must possess an appropriate AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) license or hold equivalent qualifications that are deemed acceptable by the Director.
  • Knowledge: Must be well-acquainted with the maintenance sections of the certificate holder’s company operations manual and operations specifications. Additionally, they should be knowledgeable about the relevant maintenance provisions of the applicable regulations.
