AIRPORT ELECTRICAL OFFICER
(National – Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
  • Manage and operate generator set equipment and Automatic Change Over Switch (ACOS);
  • Maintain generator set equipment and automatic change over switch (ACOS);
  • Repair generator equipment and automatic change over switch (ACOS);
  • Analyze the damages and make steps to repair generator set equipment and automatic change over switch (ACOS);
  • Able to plan/design generator and automatic change over switch (ACOS) equipment;
  • Evaluate the work/equipment system of generator set and automatic change over switc (ACOS).
  • Operate, maintain and able to repair generator set synchronization equipment.
  • Analyze the damages and make steps to repair generator synchronization equipment;
  • Operate uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and renewable energy (solar power generator);
  • Repair minor damage to uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and renewable energy (solar power plants).
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on electrical system performance and maintenance issues.
What skills and experience do you need?
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
  • Have a certificate of airport electrical personnel and safety awareness certificate.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working as an electrical maintenance, preferably in an airport or similar high-traffic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with airport operations and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
