Accounting Specialist / AP Representative
Description
• Research tax tracker notifications and inquiries
• Assist with 1099 reporting and inquiries
• Research and track IRS levies
• Reconcile accounts, check accounts assignments, and upload to system
• Maintain desk manual
• Back up Escheat and credit admin desk responsibilities
• Respond to calls and correspondence promptly
• Collaborate on special projects with Supervisor/Coordinator
• Recommend and evaluate improvements and streamline opportunities in areas of responsibility.
Required Qualifications:
• Excellent communication, research, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well with others and handle unpleasant situations tactfully
• Positive attitude and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
• Intermediate Excel skills
• 2-3 years of accounts payable experience or relevant college education
• High school diploma or equivalent
