The Challenge
Our client urgently needed an Estimator for their Dublin-based project. Estimators are exceptionally hard to find in construction; candidates tend to stay with companies for the long-term and seldom move their careers around from business to business. Whilst the client had several internal talent acquisition teams, they had been searching for a candidate for 6 months without success. The Solution
We appointed a dedicated, discipline-specific recruitment expert to support the client. Based in London, our specialist has worked in the global construction industry for several years on similar projects and could therefore understand the technical nuances of the job brief in detail, using this to search for candidates with transferable skillsets in the wider construction market.
